Pave Global Design Challenge 2024

PAVE Global is an organization that works to set up students to build successful careers in designing and creating consumer environments. They came to LSU and sponsored a design charrette collaborating with the LSU Health Center and Our Lady of the Lake. We were tasked to design a pop-up for the health center to put on campus. We were put into teams and given 12 hours to create a design and my team ended up getting first place.

I will highlight the portions of the design that I was responsible for. Many of the renderings and models were collaborated on by me and another team member. Work is done in Revit and Photoshop.

Concept

“PUSHING Towards Medical Convenience”

PUSH will serve the student population of LSU as an accessible and interactive outlet that educates the community about the Student Health Center.

Our design creates an immersive experience that brings awareness to the health center in a way that is more welcoming and appealing to the specific demographic on the LSU campus.

The pop-up design prioritizes easy assembly, transport, and flexibility, offering multiple layouts catering to different scenarios. With the wide variety of services the health center offers, PUSH will work to provide students with informative opportunities to interact face-to-face with staff from the health center.

The modular panel design allows for a quick and simple setup, making it easy to transition if needed. Engaging activities will be built into the panels to draw students in while informing them about the health center’s services.
