My name is Taylor Stone and I am a recent Interior Design Graduate from Louisiana State University. Throughout my website, you’ll find a variety of projects that reflect the skills and experiences I developed during my time at LSU. The program provided a strong foundation in both the technical and creative aspects of design, emphasizing collaboration, time management, and conceptual thinking. In addition to my academic work, I’ve gained valuable hands-on experience through internships, giving me insight into the day-to-day of working in the industry and further fueling my passion for the field.

The Magnolia: Independent Senior Living that Redefines Aging

My project explores the relationship between interior design and quality of life by creating spaces that promote physical and mental well-being, alleviate feelings of social isolation, and foster independence. By prioritizing accessibility, comfort, and personalized care, my boutique independent living home will emphasize the importance of a well-designed space and the impact it can have on users. This atmosphere will prompt seniors to embrace this new chapter of life and redefine aging.
